Our Aims and Objectives
Denbigh PTA is an integral part of the school, raising money each year to spend on equipment and resources to provide enhancements and improve facilities to benefit our children’s education and enjoyment during their time at the school.
We work as a forum for communication between the parents and the school, bringing forward your ideas, suggestions and feedback. We strive to build a strong sense of community within the school, looking to achieve this through the many and varied events organised throughout the year.
The PTA Committee
On Tuesday 6th October 2015 a PTA committee was formed from those amongst you who felt that they had enough time to commit to a more active role in the PTA. Your PTA Committee is as follows:
Name | Role | Parent/Staff | Children |
Jackie Young | Committee Manager | Senior Staff
Jacki Bartley | Chair/Secretary | Parent/Staff | Daniel |
Kareena Lewis | Chair/Secretary | Parent/ Staff | Joe |
Kirsty Bird | Committee | Parent/Staff
Danielle Robinson | Committee | Parent/ Staff | Liam and Oliver |
Emma Smith | Committee | Parent/Staff | Maddox |
We meet as a team six times a year (twice a term). Our meetings provide the opportunity to share ideas, plan for future events and fundraising initiatives, and discuss spending requirements and to hear about school news. When working on larger events, we also meet in smaller groups, or sub-committees.
If you would like to find out more about joining the PTA, please talk to any of the committee members.
