The year 1 children were very fortunate to have a visit from Lynn today, she came to talk to us about the importance of road safety. We learnt a song all about what we need to do, to ensure we can safely cross the road. We discussed the different crossings, roads markings and different people who can help keep us safe when we are crossing the road. #dcpspandas #dcpscore #dcpspshe

This week Year 1 Panda’s have thoroughly enjoyed exploring our new science topic ‘Light and Dark.’ The children have had lots of opportunity to explore and compare different light sources, and look at the brightness and impact they have. The children have done a great job creating their own shadow puppet theatre and making their own sunglasses too! #dcpspandas #dcpscore #dcpsscience
