The children in Reception headed back to the woods this week to continue their egg adventures. They found more eggs and chicks, fed the ducks, keeping a tally of all the baby ducks and moor hens. We found a little blue egg that had fallen out of a nest and were fascinated by it. We learnt that the egg belonged to a blackbird. Imagine our surprise to find a nest full of baby blackbirds in the builders yard on our very own yard!
