Well done 👏🏻 xx

Year 5 have made a great start as parents (and babysitters!) to their flour babies. So far, they have taken them everywhere and even changed and fed them. Keep up the good work, we are proud of your independence! #dcpscore #dcpsdolphin #dcpswhale #dcpsstem #dcpslifeskills ... See MoreSee Less

Year 5 worked hard this week in maths. We looked at recognising and plotting coordinates on a grid in the first quadrant. Plotting our own coordinates at the start of the week helped the children’s understanding. We were impressed with their determination, especially when they were challenged so that they could develop their knowledge further #dcpscore #dcpsmaths #dcpsdolphin #dcpswhale ... See MoreSee Less

The Whales were amazing today learning all about first aid, emergency procedures and what to do in an emergency. The children practised the Primary Survey using DR ABC to help them and practised putting each other in the recovery position before learning all about cuts, burns, bleeding and sun safety. The Whales put their debating skills to the test this afternoon in History! They had to analyse sources of information about Queen Mary I and decide whether or not she truly deserved the nickname ‘Bloody Mary.’ The children had some fantastic discussions, points of view and showed off their debating flair. Well done Whales! #dcpswhale #dcpshistory #dcpscore ... See MoreSee Less

The Whales thoroughly enjoyed celebrating the Queen’s jubilee. They loved the cupcakes, juice and taking pictures with our Queen Elizabeth 👑 #dcpswhale #dcpscore #dcpshistory ... See MoreSee Less
