Year 3 Turtles have had the best day at The Rising Sun having their Stoneage day. We learnt how the Stoneage people turned wheat into flour, used flour to make our own bread and then had to build a shelter in the forest just like the Stoneage people would have had to do! This week is UK Parliament Week and the Dinos have been looking at what that means. We learned all about the House of Lords and the House of Commons and how they work together to pass a bill or a new law. After taking a virtual tour of the Houses of Parliament we looked at some current UK laws and talked about which we thought were more important than others. Then we came up with a new law that we would like passed with the winning votes going to it being illegal to drop litter of any kind. #dcpsdinosaur #dcpsbritishvalues #dcpspshe #dcpscore

The Dragon Class have been absolute stars in DT! Last week, they showed incredible creativity as they designed, made and evaluated their own windmills. From brainstorming ideas to testing their finished products, they demonstrated brilliant teamwork, problem solving skills, and perseverance.
