All 3 and 4 year old children in England are eligible for 15 hours of childcare per week. This makes up 3 hours a day in either our AM or PM Nursery class. Working parents may also be eligible for 15 additional funded hours, totaling 30 hours a week of childcare.
We are now able to offer 30 hours funded places here at Denbigh Community Primary School. You can visit Childcare Choices for more information and to check if you might be eligible. If you are eligible, you can apply here.
Once you have applied, you will receive an 11 digit code which you will give to the school to access the full 30 hours of Nursery. Codes must be re-confirmed every 3 months to remain eligible for this provision.
There is no charge to our parents directly from school for attending Nursery or for any consumables used by pupils Eg nappies, learning resources, snacks.
For children attending our 30 hour provision, they are invited to provide a packed lunch or arrange for a school dinner (at a cost – please contact the school office for details).
