The Reception children enjoyed a sunny day in the woods. We saw the ducklings and gave them some food. We had special permission to pick some flowers on our walk around the woods and used them to make potions and perfumes. We also made some amazing leaf boats and tested them in water. Our last morning started off with some adrenaline and problem solving, as we headed to the Zipline, Giant Swing and Quest, followed by the Night Line! We were brave, networked with each other and were gracious and encouraging to our friends!
In Maths Year 2 have been exploring position and direction. Today we took our learning outside and used compass directions plus left and right turns to direct our partner round the yard.
