Year 3 finished off our art week with a self portrait. We looked at lines to create our features and then how lines can be used to shade and crosshatch. We are so proud of our artwork and we really impressed our teachers with the care we took over our pictures., Mrs Clarke #dcpsart #dcpsyear3 #dcpsturtles

Year 3 have a had a fantastic start to art week and have been expressing their creativity in the style of Joan Mirò. The children have helped put some masterpieces back together, tried their hand at blind line drawing, created surrealist pictures and even became sculptors, creating some fantastic continuous line wire sculptures. What a lot of art! And we still have 2 more days to go Mrs Clarke. #dcpsturtles #dcpslizards #dcpsyear3
