Year 3 have been really busy this half term learning about Bridges. We have learnt the most iconic bridges across the River Tyne.
This week we went for a trip to the Quayside to see the bridges in real life. We noticed that there are lots of different shapes on the bridges which help to give it support and make them more stable for vehicles to travel on. We even went across to Gateshead over the Millennium Bridge and then back to Newcastle over the Swing Bridge!
Why not ask us to tell you some fascinating facts?!
