Today we had a special assembly from our visitor 'Kieran' from Kier. He explained that building sites are really dangerous places and that we should NOT go on them. He also helped us to understand how adults keep themselves safe on building sites.

We looked at the uniform Kieran was wearing and how that protects him. We learned about how the hard hat protects your head and the bright yellow jacket (called a high visibility vest) helps workers to be seen. Gloves to help stop cuts, grazes burns and sharp objects and protective boots to keep the feet safe from falling objects.

We think Midas did a great job of modelling the clothes - do you?
