On the 23rd May, year six held a super coffee morning to raise money for their upcoming trips such as Beamish, The Toby Carvery, London and Pizza Express!

The event started at 10:00 and the stalls included: an addictive tombola; a beautiful nail parlour; brilliant bingo; are you smarter than a year six child?; a super raffle; a tricky quiz; a coffee and juice bar; yummy cakes and a cool crèche for parents to unwind and have a cuppa.

Once the doors opened, parents piled in and grabbed some coffee and cake. They had a good time trying to beat three top students, Dannah Cruz, Peter Voroshilov and Matthew Smith, at
mental maths.

Then they could relax with a game of Gala Bingo. We even had a full house winner from year 6! Some children, (Neo Macaron, Tammy Morrison, Brandon Bolton and Liam Irving) showed parents how to use iPads and persuaded them to look into buying one for their children’s school work.

We had a quiz and it went brilliantly! Some of the questions were easier and some were harder; our highest score was 18!

It ended with a bang with a raffle with some amazing prizes! There were lots of happy winners in the end.

Year six worked incredibly hard and would like to say a massive thank you to everyone that took part at Dynamic Denbigh!
