Kirkley Hall Zoo

Last Friday, Year 1 had a fantastic day out at Kirkley Hall Zoo. There were over a 130 species of animal to see at the zoo and we were lucky enough to have a beautiful sunny day! The children enjoyed seeing the animals and even got to interact with a fluffy bunny and a not so fluffy TARANTULA! We got to see a baby wallaby in its mother's pouch and watch the lemurs sunbathing on the grass. We got up close with some scaly reptiles and even spotted some poisonous frogs. It was such a great experience for us all! We recommend you go visit Kirkley Hall Zoo to see all the animals!
